Richard Andrew Sauer, 56, of Peachtree City, Ga., passed away Jan. 13,
2012. Mr. Sauer was born Aug. 22, 1955 in Pipestone, Minn. to Andrew
Sauer & Margaret Constance Wolter Sauer.

He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force for 12 years and was a pilot
for Delta Airlines. Mr. Sauer was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic
Church and the Knights of Columbus. He is preceded in death by his
parents and his brother Michael Sauer.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years Teresa "Teri" Sauer of
Peachtree City; sons Captain Aaron Sauer & wife Stacy of Las Vegas,
Nev., David Sauer & wife Francine of Macon, Ga.; daughter Katherine
"Katie" Collins & husband Phil of Las Vegas, Nev.; grandchildren
Madeline Sauer of Las Vegas, Nev. & Carson Sauer of Macon, Ga.;
sisters Mary Perry & husband Mike of Drakesville, Iowa, Rosemary
Gillespie & husband Jeff of Sioux Falls, S.D. & Ann Coughlin & husband
Pat of Anoka, Minn.; many nieces & nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, Jan. 19, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Holy
Trinity Catholic Church with cremation to follow. The family will
receive friends Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012 at Carl J. Mowell & Son,
Peachtree City, from 5 to 7 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the
Georgia Chapter of American Parkinson's Disease Association
