Donald B. Collins, Jr.
(July 2, 1957 - July 24, 2012)
Mr. Donald Banks Collins, Jr., age 55, of Williamson, passed away July 24, 2012. He was a licensed deep-sea diver and worked at Kroger and Atlas as a materials handler. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rita Ledford Collins.
He is survived by his wife: Laurie Bryan Collins; step-daughter and husband: Shaina and Matthew Castellaw of Griffin; grandsons: Lawson and Landon Castellaw; father and step-mother: Donald B. and Billie Collins, Sr. of Williamson; brother and sister-in-law: Daniel and Michelle Collins of Forsyth; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Don and Betty Bryan of Sparta.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. The family requests in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Donald B. Collins, Jr. Memorial Fund at any United Bank to be utilized by Pike County Youth Substance Abuse initiatives.

News has reached us that Don Collins Jr., son of retired DL Capt. Don Collins Sr., passed away July 24, 2012. Born I believe July 2, 1957, Donald Banks Collins Jr. was 55 years of age at the time of his passing. Our information is limited but we understand that there will be a private memorial service for Don to be held at a later date. Survived by his parents Billie and Capt.
