WA/DL Capt. F. Alan Kneier
December 13, 1936 ~ January 17, 2013
We have received word that WA/DL Capt. F. Alan Kneier, age 76, has passed away due to advanced lymphoma. Fred Alan Kneier was born/raised in the San Francisco area of California. Captain Kneier hired on with Western 03-04-1969 and retired with Delta at the mandatory age 60 in December of 1996, and was based LAX/030 at the time of his retirement. Survived by his wife Sonia personal condolences may be sent to the family at
1585 Yew St., San Mateo CA 94402-3428.

Alan Kneier has advanced
lymphoma. He and Sonia decided to let nature
take its course. I visited yesterday and he does not respond to much.
