WA/DL retired Dispatcher Leo ‘Bud’ Meyer
May 17, 1935 ~ January 23, 2013
Word has been received that Army veteran, retired LAX/ATL -
WA/DL dispatcher and Delta Pioneer member Leo Edward Meyer, age 77, was found
deceased in his home last Wednesday. Leo hired on with Western in January of
1984, and retired with Delta as a Flt. Supt. Dispatcher, 022/ATG in June
of 2000.
Information received so far notes that there will be a viewing
at noon on Tuesday, January 29th, followed by a funeral mass at 1:00 PM at
St Mary's Church located at 1291 E. Madison Ave., Athens TN 37303.

Mr. Leo “Bud” Meyer, age 77 of Kingston, passed away Wednesday January 24,
2013 at his home. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Meyer was
retired from Delta Airline after more than 20 years of service and was an active
member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Athens.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Leo and Regina Meyer.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law: Karel Lea and Greg Biggs of
Clarksville. Two brothers: Norman Meyer of Eagle Butte, SD and Eugene Meyer of
Hawthorne, CA Two sisters: Donna Meyer of Denver, CO and Clara Belle Wolken of
Las Vegas, NV. And a host of nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.

Columbus, or St Mary Church.
