Subject: DEATH IN FAMILY -- MRS. PETER J. (Ernestine) NUGENT

CARES AND CONCERNSThank you to retired Northwest Airline Captain, and former 700th pilot, Steve Seaman for sending the sad news of the death of Mrs. Ernestine Nugent, 71, wife of retired Northwest Captain, and former 700th Flight Engineer and Flight Mechanic, Peter J. Nugent.  During our 1968 deployment to RAF Mildenhall, Pete was the Engineer on our C-124 crew along with A/C Dave Seitz, CP myself, Nav David McComb, FE Leonard Abbott, and LM Chuck Mauldin.  It was one of the best crew makeups of that mobilization; we all became good friends and enjoyed flying together all over Europe.  Pete was later hired by Southern Airlines which merged with other airlines, ultimately merging with Northwest Airlines.  Expressions of condolence may be sent to Captain Nugent and his family at 205 Camp Creek Trail, Peachtree City, GA 30269, phone 770-487-8128, and email p13nugent@att.netYou may sign the online Guest Book at http://www.mowellfuneralhome.com/memsol.cgi?user_id=1055043
