Patricia Claus Richards, wife of retired Delta Captain G.D. (Dave)

December 10, 1939 - August 13, 2014
News has reached us with the passing of
Patricia ‘Pat’ Jean neé Claus Richards, talented artist and wife of Delta Golden
Wings member Capt. Gabriel David ‘Dave’ Richards. Patricia had been battling
illness these past three years. She was 74 years of age at the time of her
passing on August 13th. We understand that private memorial services will be
held for Patricia at a later date.
Captain Richards joined Delta Air Lines
02-17-1964 and retired in 1995, based DFW, then 030/PDX at the time of his
retirement. Patricia is survived by her husband of 56 years and their children
and grandchildren.

Dave Richards is a
good friend of mine and asked me to forward this death notice to you. As far as
I know, there will be a family-only memorial service in mid-September. Also,
there is no obit on the funeral home website or in the PDX newspaper.

Pat Richards - Wife
of DL Capt G.D. (Dave) Richards (DFW/PDX)
Patricia ("Pat")
Richards, wife of retired Delta Captain G.D. ("Dave") Richards, passed away
after battling Alzheimer's disease for three years. Pat and Dave were married
for 56 years and lived in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for 30 years before moving
to Portland, Oregon in 1989. Pat loved the Pacific Northwest and was so inspired
by its natural beauty that she became an artist and sold her paintings for many
years. Pat is survived by Dave, three children (Cathy, David and Gabby), and
five grandchildren (Josh, Patrick, Katie, McKenna and Mallory).
