SO (NWA) Capt. Howard Joseph Landis

~ IN MEMORY ~
WWII veteran, SO (NWA) Capt. Howard Joseph Landis
June 1, 1921 - September 26, 2014

Notification with the passing of WWII veteran retired pilot Captain Howard J. Landis, age 93.  Captain Landis’ obituary notes he retired with Northwest but from what I could find I believe his commercial career would have been with Southern Airways and that he may have retired prior to the various airline mergers.  Captain Landis is survived by his wife Delores.
