USAF veteran, NWA/DL F/O Nathan Y. ‘Nate’ Uyehara
February 4, 1951 ~ October 16, 2014
 
The passing of NWA/DL pilot Nathan Yoshiaki Kahekili Uyehara was noted recently in the December Air Line Pilot’s  In Memoriam column.  F/O Nate Uyehara was 63 years of age at the time of his passing on October 16th.   A 1969 graduate of Mid-Pacific Institute and a USAF (80th Fighter Squadron) veteran, I believe F/O Uyehara joined Northwest Airlines 06-02-1995 and was based SEA. 
Arrangements were entrusted to

Oct. 16, 2014Nathan Yoshiaki Kahekili Uyehara, 63, of Mililani, an Air Force fighter pilot, died at home. He was born in Hawaii. He is survived by wife Susan, daughters Angela and Shanti, son Chris and mother Francine. Private services. In lieu of gifts or flowers, donations suggested to Trinity Church Central Oahu or Trinity Center for World Missions. Additional information for an obituary published Thursday.
