NWA Capt. John W. 'Red' Kennedy

Veteran, NWA Capt. John William 'Bill' 'Red' Kennedy
March 1, 1923 ~ November 28, 2015
 
Word has been received with the passing of RNPA member retired Northwest pilot John William Kennedy, age 92.  Captain Kennedy joined Northwest Airlines 05-07-1941 and worked in many capacities.... Groomer, Mechanic, Chief Mechanic, Crew Chief, Inspector, and F/E.  He retired in 1983.  Arrangements were entrusted to Kandt & Tetrick Funeral & Cremation Services of South Saint Paul, Minnesota.  To view/sign the online guestbook please visit their site at  http://www.kandt.org/obituaries/johnkennedy.html

Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather & Great- grandfather
November 28, age 92, of Mendota Heights.  Preceded in death by sisters Jane Pittman, Sally Lans and Marian Larson. Survived by wife Hannah, 3 children Kurt, Paul (Lora) and Heather (Chuck) Solum, 6 grandchildren & 7 great-grand-children. Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 3rd, at the AUGUSTANA LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1400 South Robert St., West Saint Paul. Visitation 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Thursday, at the church. Interment, Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Former Northwest Airline Pilot.
