Family write with news of the passing of
Delta pioneer member retired NEA/DL pilot Captain Joe W. Ozment, age 82.
Captain Ozment joined Northeast Airlines 01-17-1966 and retired with Delta Air
Lines, and was based Atlanta. We understand that cremation has taken place. A
memorial service will be held for Capt. Ozment on Saturday, April 2nd at 1:00 PM
at Tumbling Creek Baptist Church in Gleason TN. He is survived by his wife
Beverly.

U.S. Veteran A memorial service for Joe Wade Ozment, age 82, of McKenzie, TN will be held Saturday April 2, 2016 at 1pm at Tumbling Creek Baptist Church in Gleason, TN. Joe is survived by his wife, Beverly Ozment, of McKenzie, TN. Joe is also survived by six children; Brian (Lorraine) Ozment of Peachtree City, GA, John (Laura) Ozment of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Steve Ozment of Pompano Beach, FL, Gina (Lynn) Holton of San Antonio, TX, Andrea Heminger of FL, and Lisa (Rick) Sawicki of Hollywood, FL. He is survived by two step-children; John Barrett of McKenzie, TN and Bridget Cummings of Nashville, TN. Joe leaves behind a brother, John Ozment of McKenzie, TN, sister, Janice Harris of Paris, TN, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Gracie Ozment, brother, Bobby Ozment, and two sisters, Ray Nell Todd and Bonnie Glenn.

Delta Airlines from Northest Airlines. Retired from Delta Airlines on
01/01/1994. Joe passed away on March 27th unexpectdly at his home. He is
survived by his wife Beverly Ozment and six children and 2 step children. Brian
Ozment, John Ozment , Gina Holton, Andrea Heminger, Lisa Sawicki, Steven Ozment,
Bridget Cummings and John Barrett. Several grandchildren and great
grandchildren. He was born on 12/07/1933 in McKenzie Tennessee. Son of the late
Thomas and Gracie Ozment. Joe served in the Army durning the Koren War. Joe
belonged to the Fidelity Lodge A.F. &A.M. Melrose Mass. Memorial service are
at Tumbling Creek Baptist Church in Gleason Tennessee at 1:00 April 2nd
2016.
