LCDR USNR, RW/NWA Capt. Morris Otis 'Moose' Allred
January 19, 1934 - August 8, 2016
News has reached us with the passing of retired RW/NWA pilot LCDR USNR, Capt. Morris Otis Allred, age 82.  He is survived by his wife Sandra and had most recently resided in Fremont, California.

Obituary .......................Morris Otis Allred "Moose"
Born 1934 in Lincoln, AL to Lorene Merkl and Shelton McCall Allred. A Fremont CA resident for 26 years and previously of Lincoln, AL and Reno, NV. 
He attended Auburn University (52-55) and achieved a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with specialty in Entomology
Was a Navy veteran: LCDR USNR M.O. "Moose" Allred (56-67 active duty and reserve 67-76). He continued his love of flying and was a Professional Pilot for Hughes Air West, Northwest Airlines retiring in 1994
 
Husband of Sandra Mae Van Doren-Allred (2/91) and the late Mary June Sullivan (1/61 - 6/74)
 
Father of Michael Allred, Steve and wife Millie Allred, Christine and Robert Hansen (stepdaughter and husband), Robert Forbes (stepson)
Grandfather of: Jordan Allred, Joseph Allred, Celena Hansen, Tianna Hansen, Nicole Ray (Josh), Amber Forbes, Justin Forbes, and
Great grandchildren: Shelby Ray and Jackson Ray

Moose has Flown West.  He broke a leg a while back and his health began a slow decline and he walked on this morning at age 83.
Captain Allred lived in the Bay are, Concord I believe.
