NEA/DL Capt. Maurice 'Mike' Cloutier

USAF veteran, NEA/DL Capt. Maurice ‘Mike’ Cloutier
August 27, 1941 ~ December 16, 2016
 





Word has reached our group with the passing of retired Northeast/Delta pilot Captain Maurice Bertrand Cloutier, age 75.  Captain Cloutier joined Northeast Airlines 09-03-1968 and retired with Delta Air Lines in 2001, based 030/SLC.  He is survived by his wife Nancy.

Passing of Captain Maurice "Mike" Cloutier NEA/DL Retired BOS SLC
 
PARK CITY, Utah — Maurice (Mike) Cloutier, 75, a retired Delta pilot, died Friday, Dec. 16, at his home in Park City, Utah
 
Maurice Cloutier .....Born on Aug. 27, 1941, in Lewiston, the son of Lucien and Gilberte (Dionne) Cloutier, he married his wife of 56 years, Nancy LaBonte, on Sept. 24, 1960. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1959 through 1963.
 
Mike had an extensive flying career, starting with Northeast Airlines in 1968. Then he was hired by Delta Airlines and retired as captain of a Boeing 727 in 2001. He also was a member of the Portland Maine QB Hangar.
 
Mike was an outdoor enthusiast. He enjoyed skiing in Park City, hiking in the Rocky Mountains and snowshoeing and cross country skiing with the Wasatch Mountain Club.
 
Besides his wife, Mike is survived by three sons, Roger and wife, Jody, from Buxton, Mark and his wife, Diane, from Windham, and Steve from Henefer, Utah; two granddaughters, Cassie and Katie.
    
Services and a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
