Word has been received with the passing of Delta Golden Wings member retired Chicago & Southern/Delta pilot Captain Charlie Quinn, age 91.  Captain Quinn first joined Chicago & Southern Airlines 09-02-1952 and retired with Delta Air Lines.  Services are planned for this Sunday and Monday...visitation is planned for Sunday, August 20th from 12:00 PM - 03:00 PM at Bluebonnet Hill Funeral Home, 5725 COLLEYVILLE BLVD., COLLEYVILLE TX 76034 (817-498-5894)...funeral service Monday, August 21st at 12:30 PM , Bluebonnet Hill Funeral Home...Committal Service

Obituary.............................

Charles Harold Quinn, age 91, of Denton, Texas passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2017. Charles was born in 1926 to Otis and Ada Cox. In 1943 he joined the U.S. Navy and served for 2 years and 9 months. Later, Charles became an pilot for Delta Airlines until his retirement.

 

To honor his life, a funeral service will be held at 12:30pm on Monday in the chapel at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. The family will host a visitation on Sunday from noon to 3pm at the funeral home. He will be buried following the service in the Memorial Park. Military honors will be rendered by the U.S. Navy.
