  2. Jim was a lot of person put in a small package !
Like all of us , some good and some bad .
In his case the good scales were tipped in his favor … and he might even agree with me on that !!
    We had a strange relationship,
He had no reason to like me or let me into his life , but he did any way , and I loved him for it !!!
We had some good times , made a run with me to Alaska one summer ,
We spent 2 weeks trying to hatch him a big halibut!!
I think every one on the boat caught 2o3 or more !! Except Jim :)). That’s when the crew started calling him No Butt Barstow . lol
As a crew member he fit right in …
Whitch was kinda strange , being a Captain first 30 years … I think he liked that some one else had to do the big worrying for once !
And he could just be one of the guys :::))
That’s one of my many Jim story’s .
A good guy gone to soon ❤️ Sunny Boy :(
