Wilbur F. Frost, Jr, 85, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away December 27, 2018 at the Port Charlotte Hospice House after suffering with Alzheimer's disease for many years. He was born December 12, 1933 in Camden, NJ. Bill grew up in Miami, Florida, where, at a very young age, he developed a passion for flying airplanes. As a teenager, he worked at the grocery to pay for his flying lessons at Brown's airport close to the home of his future wife, Frances. Frances noticed the handsome young pilot and they began to date and then married in 1955.

After serving in the US Army, Bill began his career flying for Delta Airlines in 1956. Bill had a perfect record during his 39-year career with Delta. He began his career flying DC-3s and retired in 1993 after flying L-1011s internationally.

Bill and Frances continued to live and raise their family in the Miami area. They had a love for boating and when Bill wasn't flying, they could be found out on the water enjoying many fun years with boating friends and family. After his retirement Bill and Frances purchased their last boat in Michigan and enjoyed "drifting" through the Great Lakes, past the Statue of Liberty, and many other memorable spots and they headed home to Miami.

Bill will be remembered for his love of practical jokes, close friendships, and as a loving father and husband.
