Word has been received with the passing of Joyce Marie Tammany, wife of retired Northeast/Delta pilot Captain Fredrick J. Tammany.  Joyce was 80 years of age at the time of her passing.  She is survived by her husband plus many dear family members and friends.

Obituary… Joyce Marie Tammany

Joyce Marie (Kinghorn) Tammany, 80 of Ft Washakie, Wyoming, passed away August 31,2019 at Chancellor Gardens in Clearfield, Utah.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at the family ranch in Ft. Washakie at a later date.

Joyce was born in Mamaroneck, N. Y. July 15, 1939.  She Graduated from Mamaroneck High School.

Joyce was married to Fred Tammany on May 27, 1961 and married 58 years.

Joyce was a devoted mother and wife who enjoyed many hobbies and the outdoors.  In her later years she worked at Westward Heights Nursing Home in Lander Wyo in the activities department.

Joyce is survived by her husband Fred, her children, James of Lander Wyo, Patricia Acton of Kaysville, Ut, Christopher of Sandown NH and Jonathan of Rock Springs Wyo. Also 6 grandchildren and 8 Great grandchildren.

Joyce was preceded by death by her parents Carelton and Patricia (Lesko) Kinghorn and brother Jon Kinghorn.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Shriners or St. Judes.

Joyce’s family  wishes  to Thank the Staff and The  many wonderful caregivers of Chancellor Gardens, and  also Comfort Worx.
