Services are planned but scheduling is uncertain due to the COVID 19 epidemic. The link below is to the Mackey Airlines website where Randy began his airline career.”

Obituary ....
Randal Lewis Porter of Yankeetown, Florida passed June 12, 2020, he was 72 years old. Known as Randy, he was born in Miami, Florida, November 3, 1947 to Margaret Cassidy Porter and James Blair Porter, Sr. of Hialeah, Florida. Randy went to Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. He then learned to fly at Opa Locka airfield, Florida and became a pilot for Mackey International Airlines. The Porter brothers were known by all the Flight Attendants. In 1977 Randy went to National Airlines as a pilot, then Pan American Airways, then to Delta Airlines.
Randy was was a Lion's club member and donor.
He was big-hearted, a stranger to no one, and a friend to many people wherever he lived throughout his life. Randy is survived by his wife Sherry Porter of Yankeetown, his son Matthew, wife Jamie and Granddaughter Mainline Blair Porter of Palm Beach, brother Jim Porter of Tyrone and sister Susan Trimble of Tyrone, Georgia. Randy was loved will be missed by all.
