We have sad news to share from the Seago family…..news with the passing of Deloris Fay Seago, wife of Delta Air Lines retired crew scheduler Carrol ‘Seth’  Dean Seago….also news of Seth’s medical condition.

Friends write: “Deloris Seago, wife of Retired DFW Crew Scheduler Seth Seago, died on Wednesday, September 23rd.  Both she and Seth tested Positive for COVID.  She developed Pneumonia and then heart problems kicked in. She passed in her sleep.  She will be cremated and a memorial service will be held later.  Seth is on home health care with family nearby.  I'm sure he will appreciate hearing from the Bum Group. ADDRESS : Seth Seago, 1601 Co. Road 240, Gustine TX.  76455.”

Obituary………….

Deloris Seago, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, in Abilene, Texas. 

She was born on July 24, 1938, in Lamkin, Texas, to Wilmer Jackson Westfall, Sr. and Eva Wenona (Lane) Westfall. On June 9, 1956, she was united in marriage to Carrol Seago in Gustine, Texas. Deloris was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She was an excellent homemaker and cook, and made the best sweet potato casserole in the county. She took EMT classes and was a member of the Gustine Volunteer Fire Department. Deloris was a member of First Baptist Church of Gustine.

 She is survived by her sons, Randy Seago and partner Eric Baze of Austin and James Seago and wife Sheri of Irving; daughter, Carolyn McKaughan and husband Jim of Gustine; grandchildren – Jeremy, Clint, Ashley, Scott, Amber, Kristi, Jared, Charity, Steven, Tasha, and Preston; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilmer and Wenona Westfall; and brothers, W.J. Westfall, Jr., Royce Westfall, and Boyd Westfall. 

A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
