Military veteran, DL Capt. John D. Moran

September 1, 1932 ~ December 20, 2021

 

From friends and colleagues, we learn of the passing of Delta Golden Wings member retired Delta Air Lines pilot Captain John David Moran, age 89.  We understand that Captain Moran was widowed in November 2018 with the passing of his wife Doris.  Arrangements and services for Captain Moran are not yet known.

“Thanks to retired Delta Captain Nick Gentile for sending the sad news of the death of retired Delta Captain, and former ATL Chief Pilot, John D. Moran.  Captain Moran was born 9/1/1932 and hired by Delta 7/9/1956.  The current DGW Roster lists his address as P.O. Box 8709, Horseshoe Bay, TX 78657, phone 843-290-3845 cell.”
