Friends & colleagues pay tribute:  “I am sad to report that Dick Polhamus has flown West to see what his brother

Bob has been up to. I spent some time with him at his house here in Vero

last month following a QB meeting. He still had the sparkle of mischief in

his eye as we sat and I listened to many stories about his surfing days

which I had no idea of his deep passion for. Pics of his favorite boards

which were not brought out for me but actually reside in their place of

honor in the house. I rested easy with a beer and Dick enjoyed his standard

Vodka Martini as we talked about our mutual love of the NWA days. Many of

you were mentioned, antics and nefarious actions reviewed in great detail.

We all know him to be a one of a kind spirt, and he kept that glow of

adventure to his last days. He will be missed and I'm going to be regaling

the next QBs meeting with some memories of Dick and if QBs wants to join me

it would be welcomed. In the next few days raise a drink and make a toast to

Dick, he's earned it. Cheers!”
