USAF veteran, DL Capt. Tom “TR” Richards
November 25, 1948 ~ May 16, 2024
From friends and family comes this sad news of
Captain Tom Richards’ passing…..
“Retired Delta Captain Thomas Michael “TR”
Richards passed away unexpectedly on May 16, 2024 at age 75. He resided in Park City, UT and Tucson, AZ
where he was an avid skier and mountain biker. TR was hired by Delta on May 9,
1977 and retired as a B-777 captain based in ATL in September 2004. He was a US Air Force veteran serving during
the Vietnam War flying the C-141A out of Norton AFB. TR is survived by his brother Steve, daughter
Sara, former wife Amy Richards and many friends.
Arrangements for a Celebration of Life are
pending.
