Noted in the August 2024 Air Line Pilot magazine “In
Memoriam”, the passing of NWA Capt. Gary W. Giese who died in January 2024. Gary’s hire date was 3/25/1968 with Bonanza
which merged with Hughes AirWest effective July 1, 1978, and yet another merger
thus the retirement with Northwest Airlines.
Gary had most recently resided in Arizona.
