NC/RC/NWA Capt. James R. Moser

Belated notification....this is an ALPA reported death that we had not previously been made aware of.  The ALPA column is the issue month in which the death was reported.  Below is what information I could find for Korean war veteran retired NWA pilot Capt. James R. Moser.

Captain Moser was widowed in 1969 and remarried in 2001.  Survived by his wife Marian personal condolences may be sent to the family at

Of Apple Valley, passed away May 4, 2014. Preceded in death by his first wife, Sue Hennessy Moser; parents, Carl and Pearl Moser; son- in-law, Dan Rice. Jim served in the Marine Corps and Air Force as a pilot in the Korean War. He was employed as a commercial airline pilot for North Central and Northwest for 37 years, and retired as captain. He was instrumental in implementing essential programs for current and future pilots. He was a loving husband, father & grandfather. He was loved by all who knew him. Survived by wife, Marian; daughters, Sue (Steve) Folsom and Heidi Rice; sons, Paul (Kerry) Schultz, Greg (Liz) Schultz, Scot (Colleen) Moser, Steve (Rayanne) Moser and Mark Moser; 11 grandchildren. Also survived by brother, Carl Moser. Memorial service 10 AM Fri., May 9 at Faith Covenant, 12921 Nicollet Ave. S., Burnsville, MN. Memorials to: The Smile Foundation, Kosovo-Rick Drenk/Faith Covenant or donor's choice.
