We have yet to learn more of the passing of retired WAL Captain Bob Bowman.  Born/raised in Washington state, Robert C. Bowman joined Western Airlines 05-01-1962 and retired with Delta Air Lines.  He was based LAX, then SLC prior to retiring.  Captain Bowman had most recently resided in Kailua HI ...... address c/o daughter Debbie: P.O. I wish to thank Gil for sharing the sad news concerning the death of Bob Bowman.  I was researching and waiting for more information before posting this notice but so far it hasn't been forthcoming.  No post has yet been included at Flight West website.  Your next update on Bob will have more details.

I just learned of the passing of my friend, Western Airlines Capt. Robert "Bob" Bowman, 84 years old, on Sunday, October 1st. I do not know the details. He address was:
