Obituary : Terry Paul Virus

With profound sadness we announce the passing of Terry Paul Virus, age 73, on May 3rd, 2022.

Terry was an accomplished Navy and Commercial pilot and soon to be pro golfer (he would appreciate the humor), along with being a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to all. Terry lived a full life of adventure, abundant laughter, and love for his furry kids, Woodie, and Sadie – they were the perfect three some!

In celebration of Terry's life, if you are interested in honoring him through a donation, we are recommending the MPN Research Foundation. The foundation's single goal is to stimulate original research in pursuit of new treatments and eventually a cure for Polycythemia Vera, a disease Terry lived with for 12 years.

PV is a rare, chronic blood cancer in which a person's body makes too many platelets and red blood cells, which causes the blood to thicken and not flow normally through arteries and veins. PV is a chronic, progressive disease that worsens over time and can lead to other blood diseases such as Leukemia.

To learn more about Polycythemia Vera or donate, please refer to MPM Research 's Foundation website @ www.mpnresearchfoundation.org

FUNERAL HOME : Lesneski Mortuary, 640 South El Camino Real, San Clemente, CA
