NWA F/O William John Engen

June 14, 1923 ~ March 1, 2017

 

As noted in the May issue of The Air Line Pilot magazine’s “In Memoriam” column….the passing of Northwest pilot F/O William J. Engen, age 93, in March of 2017.  William joined Northwest Airlines 12-13-1951 first as a mechanic.  Widowed in 2016 (please see below), William is survived by his children and by his grand- and greatgrandchildren.

Engen, William John age 93, of Golden Valley. Preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Virginia. Survived by sons, Will (Karen), David (Linda), Jonathan (Jodi); daughters, Rebecca, Deborah; 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.
