News has reached us with the passing of
retired DL pilot Captain Gerald Bryan, age 79. Captain Bryan joined Delta Air
Lines 02-14-1966 and retired with Delta as an international pilot. He was
widowed in January 2015 with the passing of his wife Exa Elizabeth. Captain
Bryan is survived by his children and grandchildren. Services for Captain Bryan
will be held tomorrow April 5th in Fairburn GA...please see information

Just got notified that a long time member of Cushing Park Family passed away on Friday.
Gerald Bryan.
Mr. Gerald Stout Bryan, of Fayetteville passed away April 1, 2016. He was a loving husband, Father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Big Daddy was an international pilot for Delta Airlines, retiring with an unbreakable record for the most international flight hours in the commercial airline industry. He received the prestigious Feather in Your Cap award for his part in a rescue of a stranded helicopter crew and numerous other accolades. He was the President of The Fayette Log Cabin Squares, Delta Cushing Park and Tomochichi Archery Club. He was a championship archer, a hobby he enjoyed with his late wife and children. He loved music, singing and playing guitar. Gerald made sure all of his children played a musical instruments. He coached Little League teams for all his children. He always was grateful for everything he was blessed with. What his family will remember most about him was his loving nature to all those around him, trying to bring joy to everyone who came in contact with him!

Caroline), Jonathan Daviss (fiancé, Emily), Johnnie Blankinship (wife, Hope),
their children Haygen, Michael and Ellie Exa; Joshua Blankinship (wife,
Chelsea), their children, Jadyn and William Neil; granddaughters, Rebecca Spell
(husband, Kevin), her sons, Gabriel and Asher; Christina Hydrick (husband,
Cody); David Bryan, his children David, Cheyenne and Christian; Donzelle Bryan
(wife, Faren), his children Zoey and Troy; Dale Bryan; Daniel Bryan; Audrey
Wiggins (husband, Jonothan) their children, Finley, Bella, Micah, and Foster. A
funeral service will be Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 2 o’clock in the Chapel of
