Notice of passing….retired Delta pilot Captain Charles Henry Rand, age 86.  Captain Rand joined Delta Air Lines 12-18-1961 and was based Chicago.  He is survived by his wife Susan, and by his children and grand- and greatgrandchildren.

Obituary : Charles Rand

Born: September 29, 1935

Died: February 10, 2022 in Rockford, IL

Charles Henry Rand age 86 of Harvard, IL passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022.

He was a pilot for Delta airlines, and had wonderful hobbies that he enjoyed such as hunting and fishing.

Charles is survived by his wife Susan Rand and four children C.J., Tara, Jim and Mitch, his 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by parents, and his brother Johnny and sister Carol.

Charles enjoyed spending time with his family, He was a loving, generous, and fantastic husband, father, brother, and friend. We will always remember his big smile, words of wisdom, and contagious laugh.
