Word has been received of the passing of Barbara Hancock, wife of retired NEA/DL pilot and Delta Golden Wings member Captain David Hancock. Born December 18, 1926 Barbara Rundlet Hancock was 85 years of age at the time of her passing January 22, 2012. Barbara is survived by her husband David C. Hancock.

Barbara (Rundlet) Hancock, 85, of 88 Masonic Home Rd., passed away
Sunday, January 22, 2012.
She leaves her husband of 62 years, David C. Hancock; one son, David
A. Hancock and his wife Janice of Rye, N.H., three daughters; Amy B.
Ziminsky and her husband Robert V. of Mason, N.H., Deborah A. Edler
and her husband William A. of Merrimack, N.H., and Susan A. Hale and
her husband Edward R. of Plaistow, N.H., 9 grandchildren, 7 great
grandchildren.
She was born in Cambridge a daughter of Frederick T. and Marguerite
(Paris) Rundlet.
Barbara graduated from the Faulkner School of Nursing in 1948.
She was active in the Prayer Shawl Ministries, Episcopal Church Women
in Port Orange, FLA., and a grand Parent Volunteer in port orange and
assisted teachers. She created, directed and operated Hancock Child
Care Center and Pre-School in Atchinson, N.H. from 1972 to
1978.Barbara was a member of the Red Hat Society, and enjoyed and
raised Black Labs and Golden Retrievers. She was also very handy with
home crafts and made clown dolls, and shipped them all over the world
to friends and people who were ill.
A Funeral Service for Barbara will be Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 1
PM in the James C. Nicholl Chapel at the Overlook Masonic Center, 88
Masonic Home Rd.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to: Pancreatic
Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Ave., 200, Manhattan Beach, CA
90266.
The Robert J. Miller-Charlton Funeral Home, 175 Old Worcester Rd., is
assisting Barbara's family with arrangements.
