Word has been received of the passing of WWII veteran (SGT US ARMY AIR FORCES) and retired NWA pilot Robert ‘Bob’ Hackenberg, age 86.  Arrangements entrusted to Washburn-McReavy Funeral Chapels of Edina MN.

Survived by children, Deborah (Doug) Olson of Eden Prairie, Daniel (Kathy) of North Potomac, MD; grandsons, Jay, Robb (Vera) Olson, Jeremy (Hannah), Jordan (Sarah), Joshua (Amber) Hackenberg; granddaughter, Brittany (Aaron) Prim; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Olivia, Kerrington, Griffin Olson, Moses, Ada, Levi, Adelynn Hackenberg, Felix Prim; and many other family members. Memorial service Thursday 12 Noon at Wooddale Church EDINA, 5532 Wooddale Ave, Edina. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
