Death of Capt Jim Achee DAL


Was just notified by Bud Brooks that Jim Achee passed away yesterday.
The funeral will be:

Obituary


Achee, James Burt James Burt Achee, of Irving, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2012. He was born March 27, 1920 in Plaquemine, Louisiana. After serving in the Army Air Corp during World War II, he retired as a Captain from Delta Air Lines in 1976. He was preceded in death by his wife Pauline Ann Achee in 2007, daughter Sheila Achee in 1963 and great granddaughter Allison McNutt in 2004. Survivors include daughter Coleen Couch of Irving; grandchildren Chad McNutt, Justin McNutt and Kimberly McNamara; and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Friday, August 17, 2012 at Brown's Memorial Chapel with Gerald Schwalb officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
