Notification of the passing of retired NEA/DL pilot William Fred
Farmer, age 71. William Farmer hired on with Northeast Airlines 09-03-1968. As
of September 1998, F/O Farmer was based ATL with 30 years of service. His
obituary mentions that he flew internationally for 35 years but I was unable to
determine an exact date of retirement.

William F. Farmer , 71, of Longboat Key, Florida, passed away on January
18, 2013.
Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, he graduated from Clearwater High School,
and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He flew
internationally for Delta Air Lines for 35 years. And he was a member of the
Longboat Key Club since 1996.
Farmer is survived by his wife, Sharon; his brother Ben; his four children,
Chad, Cindy, Cara and Darrin; his 3 grandchildren Lizze, Elle, and Cayden. A
Memorial service will be announced in the Spring. Memorial donations can be
given to the Brain and Behavior Research Foundation.
