Notification of the passing of Army veteran and retired DL pilot Captain William Howard Warren, age 76. Captain Warren hired on with Delta 11-30-1964 and was based ATL. A memorial service for Capt. Warren will be held Monday, February 25th at 2:00 PM at Peachtree City United Methodist Church with visitation one hour prior.

Life Legacy:

William “Bill” Howard Warren, 76, of Peachtree City, GA passed away Friday, February 22, 2013. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Osborne & Charlotte Howard Warren and his brother, Richard Warren.

He is survived by his loyal & loving wife of 55 years Ellen Hale Warren; daughters Lisa Warren & Jane Warren, both from Smyrna, GA.

Bill was born in Old Town, Maine in 1936. He graduated from Fort Fairfield High School in Northern Maine and also the University of Maine at Orono. He proudly served in the United States Army and later retired as a pilot from Delta Air Lines.

A memorial service will be held Monday, February 25, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Peachtree City United Methodist Church, with Rev. Sean Robinson & Dr. Steve Dodson officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make donations to The Salvation Army.
