released obituary information, funeral times have been changed to coincide with
what was stated in Captain Wynn’s obituary. The family writes:

HARRIS BONNER (JACK) WYNN III
Harris Bonner (Jack) Wynn III, 77, of Sandy Springs, Georgia passed
away surrounded by his family, on May 12. Jack, the son of Harris
Bonner Wynn, Jr. and Juliette Dufour Pollard was born in Bainbridge,
GA in 1935. He was an Eagle Scout, proudly achieving the rank of Order
of the Arrow. After serving in the Air Force and attaining the rank of
Captain, Jack then joined Delta Airlines as a pilot in 1957. He
retired from Delta in 1995 after 39 years. His career spanned the
flight services of the DC-3 through the L-1011. Jack made friends
everywhere he went, and loved ballet and opera, as well as any good
social event. He showed his wife and children the world, and taught
his children the value of curiosity and leadership. He enjoyed
coaching soccer and helping distant relatives worldwide explore their
genealogic heritage. He and his loving wife, Linda, were married for
54 years. He is survived by Linda , his daughters, Susan Wynn and
Janet Salem (Chip); his son, Harris Bonner Wynn, IV (Christi), his
brother, Frederick Wynn (Brenda), his sister Harriet Young (Bill) and
his grandchildren, Lauren Kissel (Jeffrey), Evan Wynn, Melissa Wynn,
Andrew Wynn, and Erinn Salem. The family requests in lieu of flowers
that memorial donations may be given to Best Friends Animal Society in
Kanab, UT (http://bestfriends.org/) or the Salvation Army in Atlanta
(http://salvationarmyatlanta.org/). The funeral service will be held
at 3:00PM Thursday May 16, 2013 at the Sandy Springs Chapel, 136 Mt
Vernon Hwy, Sandy Springs, GA 30328.
