CHRISTOPHER J. 'CHRIS' THOMPSON, 46 , ROCKFORD IL -
Christopher J. "Chris" Thompson, 46, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Wednesday, August 7, 2013. He was born Oct. 28, 1966, in Rockford, the son of C. Dean and Gloria C. (Chudoba) Thompson. Chris had served in the US Air Force and was a former captain and pilot with Northwest Airlines. He loved his family and friends, including Bentley, his dog. Survivors include his parents, C. Dean and Gloria Thompson of Rockford; sister, Carol (Dave) Harris of Minong, WI; niece, Mikayla; nephew, Eli; grandmother, Frances Chudoba; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friend, Polly Roberts. Predeceased by his grandfather, Chris Chudoba. Private service on Saturday, August 10, 2013, in Sundberg Funeral Home, Ltd., with burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
