There will be a burial service for Gary Wolter at Lakeside Cemetery in Fairmont, Minnesota at 3pm (1500),  Sunday April 27.  There will be a concurrent service for his brother Ric who passed away a few years ago.  Contact Bill Day if you need more information.

Longtime Northwest Airline Pilot Gary Wolter Dies
A St. Michael resident during his career, he had retired to Nevada.
Gary Earl Wolter, 75 died Dec. 23, 2013, in the company of his daughters.
Most recently a resident of southern Nevada (Fairmont, MN) Gary graduated from University of Iowa. He served in the Air Force and Air National Guard.  He was a Captain for Northwest Airlines for 32 years, retiring in 1998.
Gary is survived by his daughters Beverly (St. Michael) and Jennifer (Nevada), grandchildren Kloey, Kali, Kurtis and Roman, sister Jan (Bob) Bennett, brother Ken (Kathy) Wolter, brother Robert (Mae) Stubbs and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Earl Wolter and Evelyn Wildman, brother Ric and biological mother Ella Henderson Stubbs (Ellen Ricklick).
A Celebration of Life will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 11327 17th Place NE in St. Michael, MN.
Interment will be held on April 27, 2014 at the Lakeside Cemetery in Fairmont, MN. For additional information on services please email the family.

Word has been received with the passing of NWA Captain Gary E. Wolter.  Born/raised in Minnesota, Captain Wolter was 75 years of age at the time of his passing.  Captain Wolter joined Northwest Airlines 10-24-1966.  
There will be a memorial service in Minnesota...time/date yet to be determined.  Arrangements are under the direction of Palm Eastern Mortuary and Cemetery, 7600 S. Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123... 702-464-8500.

With profoundly deep regret, I must inform you that retired NWA/Delta pilot Gary Wolter has Flown West.  Gary passed away on December 23 after a prolonged illness.  There will be a memorial service in Minnesota.  His daughters are making arrangements and I will forward the details when they come available.
