Vietnam war veteran, WA/DL Capt. Peter D. Buck
May 8, 1942 ~ April 11, 2014                      
 
 

News has been received with the passing of WA/DL Captain Peter Daniel Buck, age 71.
Captain Buck joined Western Airlines 01-29-1969 and retired with Delta Air Lines , based 030/SLC.

Captain Buck had most recently resided at 7229 E. Quince St., Mesa AZ, up until last summer when health issues dictated his moving to the Eden Adult Care Facility in Mesa.

Obituary: 
Peter Buck passed away on April 11, 2014 at the age of 71 due to natural causes. Peter served two tours as a Navy Lt. on aircraft carriers during Vietnam, and retired as a pilot from Delta Airlines. Peter was born in Mesa, AZ to Alfred Buck and Melpha Shill. He was a long time resident of Mesa, and leaves behind nephews: Wade Carter, Jeff Carter and Tom Leveen; nieces: Lesley Carter-Chauarria and Julie Harris; five great nephews and best friend and confidant, Don Carter.
