Word has been received with the passing of RNPA member retired NWA pilot Captain John Lawrence ‘Jack’ Casey, age 76.   Captain Casey joined Northwest Airlines 09-13-1965 and retired with Northwest in 1997.  Captain Casey was widowed with the passing of his wife Andrea in March of 2012.  The Caseys had most recently resided at

Obituary  .............   John "Jack" Casey
Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Andrea; parents, William and Jane; and brother, Robert.
 
He will be deeply missed by his children, Cathy (Paul) Decelles, Lorraine (Michael) Glennon, and Sarah Casey; grandchildren, Claire and Olivia Decelles, and Caitlin and Elizabeth Glennon.
After a brief tour in the marines perfecting his flying skills, he went on to spend his entire career with Northwest Airlines retiring after almost 30 years as a 747 captain.  He was a longtime supporter of Hammer Residences, Smile Train and his church.  He was a devoted father, grandfather and his family and friends will miss his integrity, compassion, sense of humor and unconditional love.
Interment Holy Name Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Hammer.

Casey, Andrea, Age 72 of Plymouth passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on March 14, 2012 after a long illness. She is survived by her loving husband, John; daughters, Cathy (Paul) Decelles, Lorraine (Michael) Glennon and Sarah Casey; grandchildren, Claire & Olivia Decelles and Caitlin & Elizabeth Glennon. Throughout her life, she was active with her church, involved with education issues and special needs causes. Most importantly, she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be greatly missed. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Monday at the Church of Holy Name of Jesus, 155 County Rd. 24 in Medina. Visitation 4-6 PM Sunday at Gearty-Delmore Plymouth Chapel, 15800 37th Ave. N. at Vicksburg Lane and 1 hour prior to Mass at church. Interment Holy Name Cemetery. Gearty-Delmore 763-533-1411
