Belated notification...noted in the January 2015 Air Line Pilot magazine's In Memoriam column, we see the passing of F/O Daniel B. Stringer, age 49.  F/O Stringer first flew for Great Lakes Airlines before joining Northwest Airlines 05/02/1996 and was based Detroit.  He was flying for Delta Air Lines prior to his illness.  His online obituary may still be viewed at http://obits.cleveland.com/obituaries/cleveland/obituary.aspx?pid=173061085  Survived by his wife Penny Parker Stringer, whitepages lists their home address as 14921 Clifton Blvd.,  Lakewood  OH 44107-2525   ...  (216) 658-3661

DANIEL B. STRINGER age 49. Beloved husband of Penny (nee Parker). Loving father of Danielle and Liam; Dear son of Anthony R. and the late Carol Stringer (nee Guidone). Son in law of Blaine and Donna Parker. Brother of Paul V. (Patricia - deceased), John F., and Julie Stringer Reis (Don). Brother in law of Jason and Marcie Parker. Uncle of Kelley and Stephen Reis and Emmett Stringer. Dedicated friend to many. Daniel was a 1983 graduate of Westlake High School and graduate of Bowling Green State University. He was a member of Theta Chi Fraternity where he was 1987 "Man of the Year." He was a member of the Quiet Birdmen where he was key man for two years. Entered into eternal rest November 1, 2014. Funeral Mass St. Colman Church 2027 West 65th St. Saturday, November 8, at 10:00 am. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH) Interment private. Friends may call in the McGORRAY-HANNA FUNERAL HOME OF LAKEWOOD 14133 DETROIT AVE., FRIDAY 2-4 AND 6-8 PM. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to St. Colman Church 2027 W. 65th Cleveland, OH 44102 or The Rape Crisis Center 526 - Suite 1400, Superior Ave Cleveland, OH 44114.
