NEA/DL Capt. Frank C. Triolo
July 10, 1938 - May 21, 2015 
 
 
Notification with the passing of Delta Golden Wings member retired NEA/DL pilot Captain Frank C. Triolo, age 76.  Captain Triolo joined Northeast Airlines 09-03-1968 and retired with Delta Air Lines in 1998.  He was based Miami, Atlanta, then 031/JFK at the time of his retirement.  Captain Triolo's obituary below notes that a memorial service will be held for him on July 13th at 1:00 PM, at the Wheel House Restaurant at the Marina, 4425 S. Landings Drive, Fort Myers FL.  Survived by his wife Vicki personal condolences may be sent to the family at

Obituary.......................................
Frank C. Triolo, 76, of Fort Myers, FL died on May 21, 2015 at his home under the care of Hope Hospice. He was born on July 10, 1938 in Tuxedo, NY, a son of Carmelo J. and Marie C. (Crisci) Triolo.
 
Frank was a resident of Florida since 1983. After college Frank worked as a musician before pursuing his love of flying. He then became a commercial pilot with Northeast Airlines. Frank flew for a Japanese Airline before the merger of Northeast and Delta Airlines. He retired from Delta Airlines in 1998. During his years as a pilot, Frank went back to school and earned his MBA, was then certified as a CPA and also earned his doctorate of law degree. He worked as a CPA and Attorney in Ft. Myers.
 
After his retirement, Frank flew for Net Jets, a private ownership airline. He was a member of Quiet Birdman (Q.B.'s), as well as an honorary member of Special Forces Motorcycle Club. His love of Martial Arts earned him a 3rd degree black belt in Kenpo Karate.
 
Frank is survived by his wife of 39 years, Vicki (Landry) Triolo, his brother, Joseph (Annabella) Triolo of NJ. His sisters, Marianne (Joseph) Downs of NJ and Phyllis (John) Merchek of CA, along with nieces and nephews.
 
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 13, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Wheel House Restaurant at the Marina, 4425 S. Landings Drive, Fort Myers.
 
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to Hope Hospice, 9470 Health Park Circle, Ft. Myers, FL 33908. Friends may sign the guest book at www.horizonfunerals.com
