NEA/DL Capt. Charles W. Horton III

            November 14, 1937 - June 25, 2015  

BIOGRAPHY.............Mr. Charles Horton, III, age 77, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015. He was born November 14, 1937 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to Charles and Catherine Fox Horton.
 
Mr. Horton was a resident of Santa Rosa Beach, FL. He served in the United States Army, United States Army Reserve and National Guard as Rotary and Fixed Wing Pilot, retiring after 42 years. He was also a pilot for Delta Airlines for 29 years.
 
Mr. Horton is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Holly Ann Horton.
 
Mr. Horton is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Susan Horton of Santa Rosa Beach; two sons, Charles W. Horton IV, of Fayetteville, Georgia and Rhett Horton and wife Melissa of Broomfield, Colorado, and one brother Kim Horton of New York.
 

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

News has reached us with the passing of retired NEA/DL pilot Captain Charles W. Horton III, age 77.  Captain Horton joined Northeast Airlines 09-03-1968 and retired with Delta Air Lines in 1997, based 030/ATL. 
Survived by his wife Susan,
