Dwight graduated from Whittier High School,
(California) in 1960. He then joined The United States Army and graduated
Officers Candidate School in March 1963, Fort Benning,
Georgia.
Received his certificates of flying from The United
States Army Aviation School. Relocated to Arizona in 1965 where he attended
Arizona State University and was with The Arizona National
Guard.
May 20, 1968 started ground school for Bonanza Airlines, achieving his dream
career as a commercial airline pilot. Retiring March 3, 2003 with Northwest
Airlines.
Dwight and Roxanne were married February 1975. Together
enjoyed the great outdoors, backpacking, camping, hunting, fishing, sail boating,
ranching, motorcycle riding, and competition shooting.
Dwight loved woodworking and could design and build
anything.
His presence with-- his hat and aviator glasses-- will
be dearly missed forever.
