Notification with the passing of Delta pilot Captain James Edward Wright, age 86.  Captain Wright joined Delta Air Lines 12-03-1956 and retired in August 1989, based DFW.

Obituary..............................
James Edward Wright, 86, passed away on October 31, 2015 at his home. He was born on August 11, 1929 in Miami, Florida to the late John W and Sarah L. (Turner) Wright. He was the loving husband of Elen (McConnell) Wright.
After being decorated for his service to the US Army in Korea, he became a pilot for Delta Airlines for more than 32 years. He was also a part time rancher who loved horses. His highest priorities were always in serving the Lord, his family, and those in need. A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, he served in a variety of leadership callings.
He is survived by his wife of Rogers; son, Jim Wright, Jr. and wife Stephanie; daughters, Connie Anne DePew and husband Tom, Loree Sowell and husband Keith, Chrysti Rubisch and husband Steve, Ramona Henry and husband Gary, Elizabeth Hargiss and husband Mike; daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Wright; 30 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
James was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 40 years, Jeannette Y. McClellan; and son, David O. Wright.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 6:00-8:00 pm at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville and again Friday from 8:45-9:30 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Dixieland Rd in Rogers with the Funeral Service to follow at 10:00 am. Interment will be in Pratt Cemetery.
