Word with the passing of retired NWA pilot Captain Gary J. Price has been received.  Gary joined Northwest Airlines 05-09-1966 and medically retired in 1975.  He is survived by his wife Joyce.  To view/sign the online guestbook please visit the funeral home website at http://www.morrisnilsen.com/obituaries/  Gary's obituary indicates that services were held today November 16th in Minnesota.

Price, Gary J. age 77 of Burnsville. He was a Naval Aviator, pilot with

 Northwest Airlines and technical writer for 3M. Survived by wife of 55 years,

Joyce, children, Lynda Smith, Jeff (Tiffany) Price; grandchildren Dayton and 

Elyse Smith, Emma and Julia Price and their mother Beth Price;

siblings Loraine Price, George (Barbara) Price, Leigh (Henry) Hammond; nieces 

and nephews. Preceded in death by son-in-law, Jesse Smith; sister

Annalee Jurczewsky. Funeral service 1:00 PM Monday, Nov. 16 at Hope 

Presbyterian Church, 7132 Portland Ave., Richfield. Interment Lakewood.

Visitation one hour before service. Morris Nilsen Chapel 612 869-3226

With great regret I inform you that my close friend and retired NWA captain Gary Price has passed away. Gary was hired by NWA on May 09, 1966 and medically retired on August 01, 1975. His medical retirement was due to probable multiple sclerosis. While still physically able, Gary worked for 3M as a technical engineering instructor. He and his wife Joyce resided in Burnsville, MN.  

Funeral services will be held at Hope Presbyterian Church in Richfield, Minnesota on Monday November 16.
