CORRECTION:  friends write that memorial services will be held January 9th....not the 8th as previously noted.

As of now, the plans are to have a memorial service for Bob at the Saddleback Mortuary on Main St in Tustin on Jan 9 at 11:00 followed by a reception at the Rutabegorz restaurant. (It is located on Main St in Tustin about 2 blocks from the Mortuary)

June 17, 1928 ~ December 17, 2015

Friends of the Lindquist family have written us with the passing of Captain Bob Lindquist, age 87.  Captain Robert M. Lindquist joined Western Airlines 03-29-1955 and retired with Delta Air Lines in 1988, based Los Angeles.  To date I have not seen an online obituary but it appears that Saddleback Mortuary is handling arrangements ...  their website http://www.saddlebackchapel.com/    Information below indicates that a memorial service will be held at the mortuary in Tustin CA on January 8th at 11:00 A.M. followed by a reception.

Bob Lindquist's wife informed me today that Bob passed away peacefully yesterday 12/17/2015.  No further arrangements as to services have been made.

jep.bap@cox.net wrote:Dick...Could you pass this along to the guys on your mailing list.  Bob Lindquist had a stroke at his home in North Tustin on Friday the 16th.  Paramedics took him to the Western Medical Trauma Center in Santa Ana where he stayed for 3 days.  He is now in the HealthSouth Rehab Center in Tustin where he will be for a week to 10 days.  Bob is in good spirits although dazed and week.  Docs say that he should make a full recovery.
