Steven Eugene Parks
 Nov. 14, 1955 - April 10, 2016
 Choburi, Jomtien, Thailand
 
 Formerly of Gulfport, MS, passed away April 10, 2016, in Choburi, Jomtien, Thailand after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. A decorated Navy veteran he served his country with distinction and honor.
 
 Steve lived a life of adventure, traveling around the world as a pilot with Delta Airlines. He was a gifted athlete, an accomplished scuba diver and photographer. He was a compassionate son, father, brother and devoted friend.
 
 He is survived by his loving companion Tudka, Choburi, Jomtien Thailand, who cared for him during his extended illness; daughter Mesha K. Parks, Marysville, WA; mother Donna Parks, Gulfport, MS; and brother Cary J. Parks, Hampton, VA. He was preceded in death by his brother T. Scott Parks, 2007 and father James M. Parks, 2013.
 
 A memorial service is pending at a later date. There will be drop-in visitation with the family on Sunday, April 17, 2016, from 4:00 - 6:00pm, at 916 E. Beach Blvd., Gulfport, MS.
