Word has reached us with the passing of Delta Pioneer member retired NEA/DL pilot Captain Noel Taber Hill, age 75.  Captain Hill joined Northeast Airlines 10-04-1965 and retired with Delta Air Lines based Boston.  He had most recently resided at

Obituary.................................
Noel Taber Hill, son of the late Priscilla and Herbert Hill, died Tuesday, May 31, 2016 surrounded by loved ones at his home of forty-three years in South Dartmouth. He was seventy-five years old.
 
A native of Round Hill, Noel acquired his love of flying from his parents, and began flying airplanes at the young age of sixteen. He attended Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Florida Campus.
 
He began his career at Fram Airlines. He continued on to Northeast Airlines, and was a captain for Delta Airlines. He was employed by Delta for thirty-five years.
 
Noel was an entrepreneur throughout his life. He established the original Sail Loft in Padanaram, owned Harbor Hill Antiques, and at one time owned his own air charter service called Harbor Air. He was also actively involved in real estate.
 
He was a member of the New Bedford Yacht Club for sixty-three years and a long-standing member of Thirteen Striper Club. Along with a love of flying, his hobbies consisted of classic cars, sport fishing, and collecting antiques. He also had a strong affinity for cats.
 
He was the loving companion of Dale Miriam Hampton Correia of South Dartmouth, brother of Roberta Hill Sawyer of South Dartmouth and Herbert D. Hill, Jr. of Boston. Also survived by Dale's son Kenneth, wife Jodie, and granddaughter Lauren Correia of Dartmouth, a niece Leslie Hill Stone, and nephew David Hill, as well as close friends.
 
A private service was held on June 3, 2016, at the Waring-Sullivan Funeral Home in Dartmouth. He was laid to rest at the South Dartmouth Cemetery. Capt. Noel T. Hill  (March 10, 1941 – May 31, 2016)

Noel flew his “Final Flight West” this past Tuesday 31 May 2016.

The family requested all final arrangement's & internment be kept private.

There was a small grave side memorial service yesterday 3 June 2016, at the South Dartmouth , MA Cemetery.

No obituary for Noel is available at this time.

If I’m able to obtain one moving ahead, I’ll forward to you for dissemination.................
