NWA Capt. James 'Jim' Landgren

Word has been received with the passing of RNPA member retired Northwest pilot Captain James Landgren, age 72.  He is survived by his wife Cherie.  Services for Captain Landgren will be held this Saturday, August 13th in Minnesota ...please see information below.

Obituary...........James Landgren  
James "Jim" Landgren, age 72, of Pine River, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2016. He was born to Earl and Amy Landgren on January 13, 1944, in Underwood, ND. James was a pilot for Northwest Airlines retiring after 40 years of service.
James is survived by his wife, Cherie Landgren; sister, Linda Pryor; daughters: Jaimi Landgren of Los Angeles, CA, Kelsi Compton (Phil) of Loveland, Co, Megan Norelius of Chisago City, MN, Jennifer Bennett of Pensacola, FL; and nine grandchildren.
 
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, August 13, at the Log Church in Crosslake, MN.
 
  



NWA captain Jim Landgren passed after a long bout with a degenerative muscle disease. He was hired by NWA on October 25, 1965 and retired on January 13, 2004. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, August 13, at the Log Church in Crosslake, MN.
