Notification with the passing of retired Delta pilot Captain Erwin H. Aderhold, age 77.  Captain Aderhold joined Delta Air Lines 04-03-1967 and retired with Delta in June 1997, based 030/ATL.  He was widowed in February 2005 with the passing of his wife Annabelle.  Captain Aderhold is survived by his fianceé, his children and grandchildren.

Life Legacy .................................. 
Mr. Erwin H. Aderhold, 77, of Woodstock passed away on Friday, March 17, 2017 at his residence.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 20, 2017 from the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Chaplain Dean Vonfeldt officiating. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Memorial Park Cemetery. The family is receiving friends on Sunday from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Aderhold was a retired Captain with Delta Airlines. He had a wide range of interests which included drag racing and raising cattle. He was Presbyterian.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Annabelle W. Aderhold. Survivors include his fiancée, Lana Lea; sons, Taz (Jenny) Aderhold, Chad (Sherry) Aderhold, Bill (Susan) Aderhold, Walker Aderhold; grandchildren, Erik Aderhold, Jessica Aderhold Taylor, Ryan Aderhold, Christopher Aderhold, Sarah Aderhold, Holden Aderhold, Nance Aderhold, Greyson Aderhold, Carter Aderhold.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Mr. Aderhold’s memory to the Melanoma Research Foundation at www.melanoma.org or to the National Parkinson Foundation at www.parkinson.org
