News has reached our group with the passing of retired NWA pilot Captain Gordon John Doody, just 2 days before his 69th birthday.  Captain Doody joined North Central Airlines 12-05-1977 and due the various mergers would have retired with Northwest Airlines.

Gordon John Doody 68, of Saline, Michigan passed away peacefully on March 1, 2017 with his family by his side. Memorial Mass of the Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 910 Austin Dr. Saline, MI 48176, at 11:00 AM with a visitation starting at 10:00 AM.
